PUDS represents majority of Polish independent steel stockholders. PUDS offers its members plenty of benefits: marketing and economical information, training, contacts with parliament and government. PUDS has influence on development of steel distribution sector in Poland and acts as the only representative of steel stockholders. PUDS has in its structure area for special steels and metal stockholders. PUDS organizes conferences, seminars, trainings and exhibitions: 2003- the host of Eurometal Congrress in Warsaw; 2004- Steel Net Forum –flats in Warsaw; 2005- Steel Net Forum longs, Warsaw; 2005- Central and Eastern Europe steel market- the host of MB event in Warsaw; 2006- Steel Markets Europe SBB- the host and partner, Krakow. Web site www.puds.com.pl became important source of information in Poland. Several steel committees : rebars, steel service centers, stainless steel. 80 members account for 4,1 mio tons of tons.
